What to Expect in a Sound Healing Session
New to Sound Healing? Here’s What to Expect..
Welcome,

Sound healing may feel new, but it’s one of the oldest forms of human medicine — now backed by modern science.
The Role of Water
Be well hydrated and bring a water bottle:
Water is essential not just for hydration, but for how our bodies receive and respond to sound. As a natural conductor, water supports the body's electrical connectivity, helping cells communicate and function optimally. During sound healing, the vibrations move more easily through our water-rich tissues, allowing frequencies to reach deep into the nervous system and energy centres. Well-hydrated cells are more responsive and better able to process subtle shifts.
On a deeper level, water holds resonance and memory — it responds to intention, tone, and frequency. This makes it a powerful ally in sound work, carrying the vibration of healing through both body and consciousness.
What else to bring:
Keep it simple, really you only need to show up and thats enough. Some people prefer to lay down and bring a small blanket or pillow for comfort and warmth, it isn't essential as the sound permeates even in a seated position.
When You Arrive:
You’ll be welcomed into a calm space and invited to lie down or sit comfortably. Sessions are held in quiet, safe settings designed to help you let go. It is advisable to turn off your mobile phone to minimise other frequencies and noises to not disturb the restful experience.
During the Session:
You’ll hear and feel sounds from instruments like Tibetan bowls, rainsticks, Koshi chimes, and gentle percussion. You don’t need to do anything — just listen and allow.
What You May Notice:
• Deep relaxation
• Physical release or warmth
• Emotional shifts
• Clearer thinking post-session

The Experience is Personal:
Every session is different, depending on what your body and mind need that day. Most people leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more present.
Who It’s For:
Sound sessions are suitable for anyone — especially those managing stress, mental fatigue, emotional overwhelm, or simply seeking deeper connection to themselves. From never having experienced Sound as meditation or even if you struggle to silence the mind, it's ok Sound healing gracefully ushers you into a state of healing and a sanctuary of silence. Equally valuable for the experienced meditator to enhance and expand your awareness and practice.
